British Army Postal Cancellations of the Anglo-Boer War 1899 to 1902This long-needed book, which has been thoroughly researched, checked and amended up to a few weeks before publication, illustrates from actual examples every recorded Army postmark both official and provisional, with details of dates and locations of use - so far as they are known - together with the army units served by each Field Post Office.

There are introductory chapters on 'Preparations For A Postal Service In The Event Of War', 'The Army Post Office Corps In The Anglo-Boer War' and 'The Date Stamps' (showing the different types of date stamp and the rarities recorded).

Among 5 appendices is one listing al Army Units involved with a record of their deployment at two points during the war.
